WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW
Noora will be undergoing her long-awaited final surgery on May 4th, and should be heading home to Iraq and her new baby sister within weeks. Mustafa Ghazwan, after undergoing successful cochlear implant surgery in the Bay Area, is hearing again! Greenville, South Carolina is anxiously awaiting the imminent return of Salee, who will come back for her follow-up care on her prostheses. We hear that Salee is now walking (and playing hopscotch) on her prosthetics without crutches!
