Dr. Robert Morris was the key local coordinator of the Boston project to help Omar, a boy from Mosul who was severely injured when US forces opened fire on a passenger vehicle near Samarra. Omar has undergone a series of operations at Children's Hospital. Linda Shiffman and Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadidi also provided crucial assistance to the child and his father, Sabah.
